多年以后,此中一件清雍正廣彩描金紋章折枝花草紋盤(以下簡稱“Tower紋章盤”)又從歐洲回到廣州,躲于廣州博物館鎮海樓。
“Tower紋章盤”盤心地位繪有塔樓(英文即“Tower”)圖案,是1728年英國濤爾家族在中國定制的,也是今朝存世的獨一一件擁有中文標注原始訂單的紋章瓷。“盤沿上的纏枝花草是廣彩作品中的常見元素,描金伎倆讓整個盤子顯得富麗堂皇。”
中國工藝美術年夜師、廣彩藝術省級非遺傳承人翟惠玲介紹,廣彩將中國傳統制瓷元素與西洋文明充足糅合,策展向東方傳達著中國的文明信息,可謂是海上絲綢之路最亮麗的文明手刺。
與中國數千年的制瓷史比擬,歐洲國家真正把握制瓷技藝的時間要晚良多,直到18世紀初他們才發現硬制瓷的機密。英文中瓷器單詞為“porcelain”,它來源于意年夜利語的貝殼“porcellana”,由此可見在東方人眼中,中國瓷器就好像貝殼普通漂亮、富有光澤。
